What data we collect
When you make a booking we collect your name, email address and, if you wish to give it, your phone number, along with the details of the booking (show, date, number of seats, amount). From business customers we also collect the details needed for invoicing. We neither see nor store payment card details: the payment is handled by Stripe.
For the mailing list we collect only an email address, and only when you give it yourself for that purpose.
What the data is used for
Booking data is used to carry out the booking: delivering tickets, sending confirmations and, where necessary, contacting you, for example if a show is cancelled. The legal basis for this processing is contract. Mailing list addresses are used to tell you about new shows, and the legal basis is consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Who processes the data
The following service providers process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Supabase and Lovable (database, site maintenance and technical error reporting). If you give permission for analytics or marketing, then also Google (Google Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity) and PostHog. Data is not sold, nor disclosed to third parties for marketing.
The payment page is provided by Stripe, and you can pay by card, with MobilePay, with Google Pay, by online bank transfer or with Klarna. When you choose a payment method, its provider also handles its own part of the transaction: Google (Google Pay), MobilePay, Klarna, or in an online bank payment your own bank.
Map and videos
The map on the Visit page and the introduction videos on the site come from Google, but neither loads with the page. They open only when you press a button, so Google does not learn about your visit before that. When you open the map or start a video, Google receives your IP address and information about which page you are on.
How long data is kept
Order and payment data is kept for the period required by the Finnish Accounting Act. A mailing list address is kept until you leave the list or ask to be removed.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data concerning you, to request its correction or erasure, and to object to or restrict its processing. Requests can be sent to info@taikurintyohuone.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Cookies
Essential cookies and local storage keep ticket booking and payment working. These cannot be switched off, and they are not used to track you outside this site.
Other cookies are loaded only if you give permission for them. Before you have made a choice, no tracking tool is running on the site at all. For analytics we use Google Analytics (visitor numbers and where visitors come from), PostHog (where ticket booking is abandoned) and Microsoft Clarity (a recording and heat map of how the page is used). Marketing cookies make it possible to target advertising and to measure which ads lead to a booking.
The legal basis for this processing is consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing removes the tools' cookies and stops the tracking.
