When can you get in?
the magician's office is not open every day. The doors open for shows and for bookings.
You can see upcoming shows and free dates in the booking calendar.
Arrive early
Doors open 15 minutes before the show starts, and shows always begin exactly at the announced time. Once the door closes, you can no longer get in.
Seats are not numbered. The room fills in the order people arrive.
Map and directions
Parking
We recommend the Rihkamatori car park first. It is a short walk from the office.
On-street and market-square spaces are paid weekdays 8am to 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 3pm. At all other times parking is free.
Free spaces can be found on the west bank of the river and in the Empire quarter south of Aleksanterinkatu, both a short walk from Old Porvoo.
Without a car
Porvoo is also about an hour from Helsinki by bus, and it is a short walk from the bus station into Old Porvoo.
In summer you can also arrive by sea: the steamship J. L. Runeberg sails from Helsinki from June to August on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It leaves Helsinki at 10am and reaches Porvoo at 1.30pm, at the harbour right beside Old Porvoo. The return sailing leaves Porvoo at 4pm.
