A meeting room in the most crooked house in Old Porvoo
the magician's office is a small magic theatre in Old Porvoo, at Jokikatu 10. When there's no show in the room, the space can be rented for your own use, for a meeting or a team day.
What the space is like
Meeting rooms produce meeting-room thinking. the magician's office invites you to play instead, and it's hard to spend a team day here without thinking more creatively than usual.
The room is built to transform. It's a small magic shop and a magic theatre, and for a team day it becomes a workspace for your group.
What's in the space
There's a table, a flip chart and a projector with a screen.
The room is an intimate performance space for 18. For working, it suits groups of up to about ten.
There's wifi and a toilet.
There are stairs up to the door, and the space is not wheelchair accessible.
Price
Half a day costs 250 euros and a full day 450 euros + VAT.
A morning booking runs 9am to 1pm, an afternoon 1pm to 5pm, and a full day 9am to 5pm.
When the space is free
Shows take priority in the room.
Mornings can be booked well in advance. Afternoons and full days open up about three weeks ahead, if no shows have been booked for that day by then. The space is available to rent on weekdays.
Food and coffee
We don't serve coffee or refreshments ourselves, but Old Porvoo is full of excellent cafés and restaurants.

Jokikatu 10 is in the heart of Old Porvoo. We recommend the Rihkamatori car park first, a short walk from the office.
